  • Giraffe

Giraffes in the wild would use their prehensile tongues and long neck to get food from tree branches. They need to make physical and mental efforts in search of food. Giraffes are with high intelligence to use enrichments and puzzle feeders. The enrichment are designed to help them exercise mental and physical strength to get food as well as explore a variety of flavor they can find in the wild

We follows the animal-centric principle and design to appeal to giraffes' natural eating habit , therefore, provide physical and mental enrichments for the adorable creatures. The feeder is designed to be put in use in zoos and natural reserves.

  • Animal Enrichment

Taronga’s ungulate keepers have invented enrichment schedules for their giraffes. The giraffes use their dextrous tongues to retrieve different treats hidden in the feeder.

“Enrichment is an integral part of our work at Taronga, as keepers are always looking for new ways to physically and mentally stimulate their animals as they would do for themselves in the wild. Enrichment comes in many different forms and can be as simple as removing something from the environment that would normally be there or as complex as a puzzle feeder.” —Ungulate Keeper, Johny Wade
